The Irish Writer’s room at the National Wax Museum Plus will be transformed into a traditional celebration of the Irish Céilí. There’ll be craic agus ceol and some Irish Dancing lessons amongst some of the most traditional Irish Writers this January. Staff will be on hand to teach the little ones a few jigs and reels! The céilí is a proud Irish tradition that is synonymous with dancing, traditional Irish music and generally having a barrel of fun. A céilí dance traditionally was a chance to bring everyone together for some socialising with some music and dancing. Did you know that the origin of the word céilí even means companion?
Families who arrive on the day with a TradFest program or book in advance through the website will get a very special TradFest family discount of 20% off all tickets.
