Sibéal Ní Chasaide’s unique vocal qualities and singing style command attention wherever she appears. As a young artist she has already achieved a level of recognition and acclaim that has proven elusive to many others. With a major international recording contract with Universal Records and a debut album launch in August 2019, this recognition is about to blow up into something truly special. Sibéal grew up in an environment that was immersed in all things Irish – Irish music, the Irish language, and Irish culture. Her innate mastery of the sean-nós tradition marks her out as a unique talent, with a remarkable versatility in capturing mood and tonal quality. Her eponymous album, Sibéal, features  a variety of songs sung both in Irish and English, with lush orchestrations by Irish composer/producer Patrick Cassidy and others bearing the stamp of the American composer/producer Craig Stuart Garfinkle.  A showcase for her extraordinary voice, it is set to bring some of Ireland’s centuries-old poems and melodies to the wider world for the first time.

Sibéal will be joined on the night by the The DkIT Ensemble who blend traditional, art music and popular styles while their music draws on an eclectic sound world. The Ensemble will include internationally renowned musicians Odhrán Ó Cassaide, Cormac De Barra, Éamonn De Barra and Claire Fitch. Get set for a spine-tingling performance…
