For over a decade, Wallis Bird has captivated audiences globally with her energetic stage presence, accumulating over 1000 shows. The recipient of multiple international awards, including two Irish Meteor Awards, she released her seventh studio album, “Hands,” on May 27, 2022. Titled “Nine and a Half Songs for Nine and a Half Fingers,” the album explores personal and experimental themes such as trust, alcohol abuse, and self-improvement. Wallis, known for her unique guitar style due to a childhood accident, toured extensively in 2023, earning praise and a nomination for Hot Press’ Musician of the Year. She also collaborated with German quintet Spark on the concert series “Visions of Venus,” spanning 1000 years of female music, from Schumann to Björk.
